From the 4 – 21 December visitors will see the rooms of the castle traditionally decorated with twinkling Christmas trees and seasonal decorations
As dusk falls enjoy walking in the crisp night air and be enchanted as the gardens turn into an illuminated winter wonderland with festoons of colour in the magnificent Italian Gardens.
For the young at heart Christmas would never be complete without a visit from Father Christmas who collects post from the Christmas Post Office. Youngsters will be able to write and post their letters all adding to this jolly atmosphere.

Husky Dog Rides
Blow away the cob webs and take an exhilarating sled ride with these beautiful energetic dogs as they howl with excitement on their way through the gardens.
Numbers limited (Pre-booked tickets min age for children 8 yrs. and needs to be accompanied by an adult) £10.00 per 2 person sled (plus normal admission). Some rides will be available on the day.

Christmas Evening Special 18 December5.00 – 8.00 pm.Get into the festive spirit!
Evening visit to the illuminated gardens, see the castle beautifully decorated in the evening light with Father Christmas, Taro the jester, carol singing, hot chestnuts, gingerbread, mulled wine, mince pies and last minute Christmas shopping.

Evening Christmas Dinners
Arrive at 6.30pm for a special pre-Christmas evening out. See the castle illuminated in the night sky and walk through the gardens twinkling with light and festoons of colour. Return to the warmth of the Hever Christmas Shop for a pre-dinner drink before enjoying a traditional 3-course Christmas Dinner in the award winning Moat Restaurant.
