March
Winter and early spring flowering shrubs together with spectacular carpets of snowdrops and crocus are on display.

April
There are carpets of daffodils in Anne Boleyn’s Orchard and around the gardens. Walls are covered in camellias. Colourful early tulips and winter violas - especially in the Italian Garden.

May
Tulips are in full bloom, as are the rhododendrons, azaleas and wisteria. Spring bedding includes hyacinths, wallflowers and pansies.

June
The 110 metre herbaceous border is in full bloom. The Herb Garden, which forms part of the Tudor Garden, also looks its very best.

July
The magnificent 3,000 roses are in full bloom in the walled Rose Garden and the summer bedding in the Italian Garden also looks superb.

August
The summer bedding and flowering shrubs still look good!

September
The Dahlia Border provides a bright addition to Two Sisters Lawn. The trees, especially the Japanese maples, Beech and other plants with coloured bark, are starting to show their beautiful autumnal colours. The Winter Garden and late roses are well worth seeing.

October
The autumn colours and Dahlia Border provides much colour with the Italian Garden maintaining interest with the magnificent display of statuary.

November/December
The yew topiary still stands majestically on the way up to the Castle with the Winter Garden displaying attractive and interesting colours and structures.
