The Annual Easter Egg Trail April 2 - 5

Hunt for clues, with the help of Henrietta Hent and friends, to claim your chocolate egg. Fun for all the family


Easter Holidays April 10 - 16

Be creative and make your own brass rubbing, at the drop-in workshop. Brasses include Henry VIII & Anne Boleyn

Dancing round the Maypole May 1 - 3

Welcome in the Spring with traditional maypole dancing and Morris men.


King Henry VIII & his Courtiers come to the castle May 29 - 31

Visitors will be able to join in the lively hustle and bustle of the King's visit and craftsmen including a jeweller, leatherworker and fletcher.


Spring Half Term June 1 - 6

Children can have fun dressing the knight and a chance to dress up in Tudor costumes


Roses and Herbs June 21 - 27

A colourful celebration of all that is in the summer garden. Meet the Head Gardener in the rose Garden and learn about the culinary, medicinal uses of herbs.


King Henry VIII's Summer Pageant July 17 - 18

Join in the special celebration with the return of the King's magnificent Knights of Royal England. Children's competition for the best dressed knight and princess. *Hog roast and ale tent chargeable.


Jousting Tournaments July 23, 24, 25, 31 August 1, 13, 14, 15, 21, 22, 27, 28

The 'Knights of Royal England' entertain with thrilling full gallop jousts.


NEW Long Bow Warfare August 7, 8, 29, 30

The 'Company of 1415' medieval archers will demonstrate the effectiveness of the longbow and crossbow as a military weapon with close range targets and speed shoots.


Veteran Cars Drop in 28 July

Patchwork & Quilting Exhibition September 3, 4, 5

A kaleidoscope of amazing coloured patchwork quilts with workshops for adults and children. Demonstrations and haberdashery stalls.


A Taste of the Garden September 13 - 19

Fiery chillies, zesty lemons, how to save the honey bee, plant swop stall, and a taste of the Mediterranean in the restaurants.


Second Annual Hever Castle Triathlon September 25 - 26

Open to all from 18 - 80 years. Families encouraged to come and support. More information soon


Discover Autumn October 16 - 17

Walk around the gardens and discover nature's creation as it explodes into colour. Visit the head gardener at the Potting Shed for advice on how to bring autumn colour to your garden.


Half Term Spooky Fun October 25 - 31

Pumpkin trail, walks, games, workshops and scary stories. Ghost Tours - Walk in the twilight zone if you date for haunting tales.


Christmas at Hever Castle December 2 - 24

Narnia comes to the castle with twinkling trees, festive decorations, log fires and illuminated gardens.
