The Hever Castle Lake water temperature is currently 18.2 degrees Celsius

All of the above races can be undertaken as an individual or as part of a relay team (ie one person swims, another cycles and another runs)

The Openwater swim will be in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake, the cycle will take place around a 20K circuit through the High Weald of Kent an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the run will circumnavigate the estate and award winning castle and gardens.

The Triathlon aims to set the bar for a family sports event combining excellent logistics, organisation and cutting edge race technology with an eye for detail and empathy for its historic venue.

The youth charity The Prince's Trust will benefit from the race with 10% of profits being donated by the organisers, additional “on-the-day” fundraising activities and also being the main beneficiary of personal giving/ sponsorship.

It costs £60 (£55 for BTA members) for the Henry VIII and £40 (£37 for BTA members) for the Anne Boleyn races. There is also a team entry category (ie. 1 person swims, another bikes and another runs) in both races charged at £75 (ie £25 per person).

• First wave Starts at 8.00am
