Most day time events are included in the cost of admission, however exhibitions and events inside the castle require a Castle ticket. Annual pass holders will receive special discounts on chargeable events.

Always check details before travelling. Hever Castle reserves the right to close all or part of the castle and grounds and to change or cancel events.

HALLOWEEN HALF TERM SPOOKY FUN

Treat the children to a fun day out this Halloween. There’s a spine-tingling programme of spooky entertainment to keep the children amused over the Half Term break that’s guaranteed to thrill visitors of all ages.

Follow a pumpkin and scarecrow trail through the grounds to discover information about the Castle’s intriguing past. Get creative in the drop-in Halloween workshops making your own trick-or-treat to take home. There’ll be more ghostly goings on from the Lady of the Wildwoods who’ll keep children spellbound with her scary stories from beyond the grave.

 

Besides the spooky activities on offer, young visitors can let off steam in the Adventure Playground and explore the twists and turns of the Yew Maze. Plus there’s plenty of wide open spaces for family fun and games. 

 

Pumpkin & Scarecrow Trail: Collect trails from the Information Centre. There will be a prize draw at the end of the week for a family ticket and goody bag.

 

Workshops (on a drop in basis): These will be held in the Workshop Centre during the following times:

 

Monday 29 October - Friday 2 November

Limited numbers first come first served

Storytelling: 12 noon – 12.45pm

Workshops: 2 - 4 pm

 

Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 November: Ghost stories will take place at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm (The story lasts approximately 30 minutes)

 

The stories and workshop are extremely popular and will be on a first come first served basis
