Most day time events are included in the cost of admission, however exhibitions and events inside the castle require a Castle ticket. Annual pass holders will receive special discounts on chargeable events.

Always check details before travelling. Hever Castle reserves the right to close all or part of the castle and grounds and to change or cancel events.

TUDOR FALCONRY

AUGUST 4 - 5; 26 - 27

Breathtaking displays of Tudor Falconry are planned for August 4th - 5th and the Bank Holiday weekend August 26th – 27th. Marvel as magnificent birds of prey soar overhead, before returning to their costumed historic falconers. Falconry displays will be interspersed with Longbow Warfare Demonstrations from “The Companye of the Whyte Boar” that show the impressive effectiveness of the longbow and crossbow at close-range target and speed shots. There’s also Have-a-go Archery* throughout the school holidays (*chargeable).

Timings:

The archers will be leaving the castle forecourt for the Events Field at 12.45pm and 2.45pm.

Falconry display 1.00pm and 3.00pm

Longbow display 1.30pm and 3.30pm

Have-a-go Archery Cost: £3.00 for 5 arrows, £4.00 for 10 arrows, £5.00 for 15 arrows, Family ticket £10.00 for 30 arrows.
