Hever Castle and Gardens will be open for visitors Daily from 1 April

Rowing Boats
Traditional rowing boats are available for hire from 11am until 5pm from the boathouse on the Lakeside Walk near the Loggia. Boats are available (depending on the weather) from Easter - September, and cost £12 per boat. Please note throughout the Triathlon Weekend (28th-29th September) there will be no rowing boats for hire.

Have-a-go-archery is available during the February Half term and then weekends from March until the end of October. There is a small fee for arrows.

Audio Guides - £3.50
Available in English, French, German & Dutch from the Ticket Office, Information Centre or Castle Entrance.  We also have a Children's Tour, available in English only.

Toilets & Baby Changing Facilities
The toilets with baby changing facilities are situated near the Entrance Lodge and next to Lavender Loos near The Guthrie Pavilion. There are disabled toilets at the Entrance Lodge, the Moat Restaurant and next to Lavender Loos.

Pushchairs
Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate pushchairs inside the castle. The pushchair may be parked in the Castle Courtyard at the owner's risk.

Parking
Parking is plentiful and is free.

Children’s Facilities
Children’s facilities include an adventure playground, yew maze and water maze (open weather permitting April - October).

Photography
Still photography or videoing is not allowed in the castle, but is permitted in the gardens.

Dogs
We welcome well behaved dogs on leads in the grounds.

Meeting Point
To avoid congestion in the car parks at busy times please arrange to meet friends on the Castle Forecourt or at the Information Centre.Â

Additional Information
Please note that children aged 15 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the Castle and Gardens.

To visit the castle only a Castle and Gardens ticket needs to be purchased.
