House Porter
Temporary Position-May- October 2013-Weekend Contract

 
You will be taking responsibility for setting up function rooms/areas across the Estate in accordance with customer requirements and undertaking any last minute changes that may be necessary. 

To be involved with parking and meet and greet of guests as required across the Estate.
You will assist with the day to day cleanliness of the function rooms and associated facilities and take a pride in what you do within this Historic Venue.
To assist with the security of the Estate as directed.
You need to be flexible and help in other departments as directed by the Manager on duty.
You will need a hand’s on approach, the ability to work as part of a team or individually.
You will be required to work such hours over the weekend as are reasonably necessary to perform your duties to include late and early shifts.
Possibility of week day shifts to cover holidays.
Transportation Essential.

Candidates must be enthusiastic and motivated, have at least 2 years previous experience of working in a busy kitchen, enjoy working with fresh food and will want to make a significant contribution to the team and the business.
