5,000 people came to Hever Castle on Saturday 4th October for what was Run or Dye’s largest UK event.
For the first time, Run or Dye came to Kent and saw runners dress in white, tutus and fancy dress ready to get messy.
People of all ages came to take on the 5K run and were blasted with coloured showers of plant-based dye for each kilometre completed.
Participants started the race in white and finished looking like a rainbow. After crossing the line competitors then took part in the famous Run or Dye Festival where they were blasted with an explosion of colour whilst a DJ took to the stage.
Duncan Leslie, Chief Executive at Hever Castle said: “Hever Castle was delighted to be a venue for the colourful Run or Dye event.
“Having hosted numerous sporting events over the past five years including Britain’s third biggest triathlon, incidentally also the world’s largest children’s triathlon, we felt this would be a perfect end to our season of sports.”
