The Marketplace Hever
June 29 2015 | What's on

Don’t miss The Marketplace Hever on Wednesday 1st July – the fantastic local monthly market at the Village Hall near Hever Castle.

The brainchild of local residents Helen O’Connell and Angela Jackson, the goal of The Marketplace Hever is to unite the community whilst raising funds for the local school and village.

Featuring a tantalising selection including baked goods, craft, flowers and gift items, The Marketplace Hever takes place on the first Wednesday of the month.

Volunteers from Hever Primary School donate homebaked sweet and savoury goodies to sell as part of the refreshments offered on site. There is also a wide variety of stalls featuring wares from local traders such as Delaware Cottage Delights, Victory Soaps, and Hall Place Dairy. With items for sale ranging from hand printed scarves and vintage teacup candles to plants, handmade fudge and other food and gift items, there is sure to be something to tempt everyone.

The monthly market provides a vibrant atmosphere for a spot of retail therapy or to catch up over a cuppa and homemade treat. It is the ideal prelude to your visit to Hever Castle & Gardens.

Visit The Marketplace Hever this Wednesday 1st July, 9:00am – 12:30pm at The Village Hall, Hever, TN8 7NH – just down the road from the Henry VIII pub and Hever School (follow the signs for the market).
