We are looking for a talented and experienced Conference and Banqueting Manager to manage a highly trained team. You will deliver a profitable and effective Conference & Events Department including the Bed and Breakfast and the newly proposed evening restaurant operation. As the head of events you will deliver a great service in line with all company policies, procedures and guidelines and manage a commercial business proposition that exceeds client and customer objectives in order to drive net growth and improve customer retention.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef De Partie to join us here at Hever Castle. As Chef De Partie, you will work in close collaboration with the Sous Chef sharing responsibility for leading junior chefs.
We are now recruiting for a Retail Assistant to work in the Courtyard Shop. This is an exciting opportunity to work at this historic and famous visitor attraction, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.
The Courtyard shop sells a carefully selected range of gift ware and stocks a wide selection of plants. An interest in plants is desirable along with great customer service. This role includes lifting and movement of stock on a daily basis.
The position will operate on a seasonal basis, commencing now and running through to the end of the year. The working pattern is 7 days a fortnight on a rolling rota and will include alternative weekends and regular Bank Holidays.
Hourly pay rate, age 23 and over is £8.91 increasing to £9.16 on completion of successful 3 months’ probation period.
Under 22’s start at £8.32 increasing to £8.63 on completion of successful 3 months’ probation period.
All salaries are reviewed each April.

We are now recruiting for a full time junior gardener to work here in the gardens at Hever Castle. You will be joining a wonderful and skilled team managed by Head Gardener Neil Miller who has worked at Hever Castle for almost 20 years.
Horticultural experience is desired, but not essential as RHS training will be given. This active role includes lifting and movement of gardening equipment.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday. Salary will be announced on application.

An opportunity has opened to join the Greenkeeping Team at Hever Castle Golf Club, this is an outside job role in all weathers, and is currently a temporary appointment.
the Job role itself will be to contribute to the day-to-day maintenance and the development of the golf course and the castle estate to a very high standard.
This job is of a physical nature, which includes working weekend mornings on a rota basis. Accommodation is not offered with this position.
Previous experience would be an advantage, but not essential as onsite training will be given.
The following skills/attributes are essential:
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to work as early starts and weekend work is required.
- Reliable and hardworking with excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with good time management and communication skills.
- A current full Driving Licence.
This position would suit someone at the start of their Greenkeeping career or someone wishing to have a career within the sports turf industry.
