Mindfulness and wellbeing are an important aspect of all our lives. With this in mind, we are introducing a Health & Wellbeing Centre at the Golf Club.

The Treatment Clinic consists of 5 rooms which host:

Osteopaths Paul Moody and Gemma Horne
Massage therapists Sophie Brise and Amy Ogborn
Physiotherapists Chris Green and Alex Horsley
Beautician Gemma Chadderton 
Nutritional therapist Claire Hargreaves

All treatments are available to both visitors and members.

Paul Moody, Osteopath

Paul Moody D.O. is a registered osteopath since 1991 and a partner at Hever Health.

Paul offers you a hands-on treatment of your aches and pains, helping to restore your bodies efficient joint movements. He advises on exercise diet and other aspects of your general health.

For golfers, Paul will help you to get your swing and body working as smoothly and pain free as possible to enhance your game and also your pleasure in the game.

Gemma Horne, Osteopath

Gemma graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 2010 and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council. She is a partner at Hever Health.

Gemma’s treatments are suitable for the whole family and she will often treat a range of people from newborn babies, pregnant mothers, sportsmen and women as well as the elderly.

As part of her undergraduate degree, Gemma completed a research project on low back pain in golfers and is therefore really looking forward to helping everyone here at Hever Castle Golf Club.

Chris Green, Physiotherapist

Chris holds a BSc in Sports Science and Physiotherapy and is a partner at Hever Health. His focus is on the rehabilitation and treatment of all musculoskeletal conditions with a special interest in sports rehabilitation.

Chris can help with many conditions including back pain, sports injuries and post operative rehabilitation. He is able to treat patients of all ages, including paediatrics.

Sophie Brise, Massage Therapist

A massage therapy service tailored to suit your personal needs, whether it be to optimise physical condition, treat an injury or just relax.

Sophie offer’s a sports-based treatment that promotes the natural healing effects of soft tissue manipulation, trigger point activation and stretching. It is Sophie’s aim to work with you and develop an effective treatment plan to get you feeling better and playing better.

Alex Horsley, Physiotherapist

Alex graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2011 and has since worked in both the NHS and private settings in the South East, focusing on the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. She is experienced in treating both acute and chronic conditions with exercise based and hands-on treatment to assist people in their recovery and management.

During her time as a physiotherapist, Alex has gained diverse clinical experience including sports and injury rehabilitation, pain management classes and hydrotherapy.

Amy Ogborn, Massage Therapist

Amy is a professional and dedicated massage therapist who has trained in various types of therapeutic massage and body work. She is qualified to carry out remedial massage, myoskeletal alignment, hot stone massage, Swedish massage, aromatherapy and Indian head massage.

Research shows that massage reduces muscular tension, increases circulation and calms the nervous system. So if you are struggling with a muscular problem, back pain, aching shoulders, sore neck, sports injury, or just in need of a relaxing massage to ease stress and anxiety, Amy will work with you to provide a bespoke therapeutic massage to help you recover.

Claire Hargreaves, Nutritional Therapist

Claire has a BSc Honors Degree in Nutritional Therapy from Westminster University. She is a member of BANT and is CNHC accredited.

Claire can help with all kinds of conditions that may benefit from nutritional support, but her specific areas of expertise are weight loss, fertility, healthy eating, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, mental health and chronic fatigue.

Claire can provide dietary, supplement and lifestyle advice, dietary analysis and private testing. She designs each protocol from scratch especially for you with meal and recipe ideas, supplement and lifestyle advice and any other information specific to your case.

Gemma Chadderton, Beauty Therapist

Gemma offers a wide range of beauty treatments including massage, facials and nails and prides herself on offering high quality treatments at affordable prices.

Gemma has worked in both salons and spas in the past and has therefore worked with a variety of different clients. She enjoys working with her clients to help them relax, feel pampered and feel the best they can possibly feel.

Gemma is available for treatments from Tuesdays through to Saturdays.
