Afternoon Tea at Hever Castle
Hever Castle & Gardens is delighted to announce the launch of a delicious afternoon tea menu.
Handmade in the Castle kitchen and served in the Anne Boleyn Wing, visitors will enjoy views across the orchard to the Castle as they indulge in a traditional afternoon tea.
A variety of tempting finger sandwiches will be served including classics such as smoked salmon and cream cheese, and egg mayonnaise and watercress. Delicious Kentish ham and local pear chutney sandwiches provide a contemporary twist.
No afternoon tea would be complete without a homemade scone oozing with clotted cream and jam and guests will not be disappointed.
The Hever Castle menu also includes a Pimm’s jelly and rich sausage rolls ensuring that those with a sweet or savoury tooth are satisfied.
This will all be accompanied with a selection of traditional, fruit and herbal teas or Cafeteire Lazio fairtrade coffee and guests can also add on Prosecco or Champagne to make it an extra special treat.
