Treat yourself to afternoon tea at Hever Castle & Gardens with vegetarian and gluten free options now available too.
A traditional afternoon tea made in the Castle kitchen will be served one weekend per month in the Anne Boleyn Wing with views across the orchard to the Castle with sittings at 1pm and 3:30pm.
From the standard menu visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of finger sandwiches of smoked salmon and dill cream cheese, cheddar and Kentish apple chutney and an open sandwich of pastrami with wholegrain mustard and gherkins. No afternoon tea would be complete without a homemade scone oozing with clotted cream and jam but the Hever Castle menu also includes a cheddar and leek tart and homemade sausage rolls ensuring that those with a sweet or savoury tooth are satisfied.
The menu will be accompanied with a selection of traditional, fruit and herbal teas or Cafeteire Lazio fairtrade coffee and guests can also add on Champagne to make it an extra special treat.
The menu costs £24.50 per person and children must be 12 or over. Teas must be pre-booked and admission tickets are also required. Booking closes at 3pm on the Friday before your selected date.
