Staff at Hever Castle’s luxury 5* Bed and Breakfast are celebrating after scooping a top prize at the Beautiful South Awards. The Bed and Breakfast was awarded Gold in the Boutique Accommodation of the Year category. Hever was also given a special mention for having “such a beautiful place with the loveliest of people”.
The Beautiful South Awards took place at the black tie ceremony at The Grand in Brighton on Wednesday 29 November and was presented by Toby Anstis. Hever beat off stiff competition from the likes of Blanch House in Brighton, Port Lympne Hotel in Kent and the Montagu Arms Hotel in Hampshire.
Sales Manager Kate Rowbottom said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won Gold at the Beautiful South Awards. It is testament to the hard work and professionalism of all the staff at Hever Castle and it’s an added bonus as we are celebrating our 5th birthday this year.”

Across the portfolio of rooms, you will find an abundance of rich fabrics, crisp linens and panelled walls, with perhaps a golden chaise longue or a glimpse of the Castle through leaded windows.
Bookings in the Anne Boleyn Wing can be up to six months in advance of the date you wish to stay, bookings in the Astor Wing can be taken eight weeks in advance of the date you wish to stay.
You can also buy vouchers towards a stay for that someone special this Christmas. Vouchers can be purchased for any room type for either a Sunday to Thursday stay or a Friday and Saturday stay. They can be for the full amount to cover a specific room type on a specific day of the week or alternatively for any amount that the person receiving the voucher can then add to. Vouchers are then valid for one year from the date printed on the voucher.
Your gift voucher can either be sent directly to the recipient or if you prefer; to yourself first. The recipient will need to quote their voucher reference number, at the time of making a booking.
