Whether you’re looking for the ideal city escape or for an adventure into the English countryside, the Astor Wing is the perfect location for both couples and families alike. Nestled in the High Wield of Kent, a stay at Hever Castle will give you a unique experience as you get to sleep in the Edwardian wing, created in Tudor style by William Waldorf Astor.
All bedrooms within the luxury Bed and Breakfast are en-suite and individually styled, with some offering four poster beds, roll top baths or walk in showers. All rooms blend modern day comforts with antique furnishings and original features. The fine collection of bedrooms offers a selection of double rooms, twin rooms, single rooms and some rooms that are suitable for families with young children.
A stay at Hever Castle in August is the perfect time to experience the gardens. As the summer heat reaches its peak, the Rose Garden will be in full bloom and the dahlias will be coming into their own. The Italian Garden, laden with citrus fruits and ancient sculptures will take you to warmer climates with a taste of the Mediterranean in Kent.
All bookings receive complimentary access to the Castle and grounds during opening hours on the day of arrival, the day of departure and all days in between. Outside of opening hours guests can enjoy access to some parts of the gardens. A ‘Full English’ breakfast is included with every stay, complemented by a healthy ‘Continental’ buffet.
If you’re after a weekend retreat in August, you can book a stay in the Anne Boleyn Wing now. Bedrooms in the Astor Wing will become available to book at the end of June for Fridays and Saturdays in August.
