The 2021/2022 golf captains at Hever Golf & Wellbeing have raised over £5,000 for Breast Cancer Kent following their first major fundraiser of the year – the annual captains’ day.
Men’s Captain Rob Stevenson and Ladies Captain Annette Hards organised the annual Captains’ Day on Sunday 27 June which raised £3,500.
Annette is standing as Captain for the second year and each year the Captains choose which charity to support. Last year she and Captain Calum Giles raised over £11,000 for the NHS.
Captains for 2019/2020 Alan Evans and Anne Jakeman chose to support homeless charity, Porchlight, raising £5,844 and in 2018/2019 £3,450 was raised for the Alzheimer’s Society.
