Don’t miss the dazzling displays of more than 400 dahlias at Hever Castle & Gardens this September. Created by Darren from our gardening team, this vibrant border provides a wonderful display of colour in the early Autumn. Often flowering until the first frosts, dahlias offer a wide range of flower types. Elegant waterlily shapes, cactus-flowered and pom-pom forms can all been seen in the gardens at Two Sister’s Lawn.

They are enjoying a much deserved return to popularity so we wanted to share with you a few of our favourites – enjoy!

1.This first dahlia is ‘Wootton Impact’. These Medium-flowered semi-cactus dahlias have fully double flowerheads and light bronze-yellow flowers.

2.Pam Howden is our second dahlia. This gorgeous waterlily variety with its peachy-orange petals, hints of fuchsia and glowing yellow centre works well in the garden and in a vase.

3.Next up we have chosen the Trelyn Crimson. The vivid red collerette with white flecks on tips of collars makes this one rather distinctive.
