Hever Castle is now selling this gorgeous Anne Boleyn china set based on the elaborated illustrated borders of Anne’s Book of Hours, one of which she is believed to have taken to her execution at the Tower of London.
The collection has been exclusively designed for Hever Castle by Christopher Dawson Heritage, meaning you won’t find it anywhere else. If you look closely you’ll be able to see that the bone china bears Anne’s signature and also includes the inscription: “Remember me when you do pray that hope doth lead from day to day”.
As the 19th May marks 482 years since Anne Boleyn was executed at the Tower of London in 1536, this collection is another way that Hever can bring the words of Anne Boleyn to life.
Anne’s Book of Hours is currently on display in Hever Castle’s Book of Hours Room.
Our bone china collection includes a cup and saucer, a teapot, a mug, a dinner plate, a tea plate, a coupe plate, a cake stand, trinket boxes and a thimble.
