Chandeliers are the theme for #FeatureFridays with Historic Houses.
Hever Castle has five chandeliers. The four that are in the Long Gallery were created by a company called Veitch & Fenn in 1906, with the original designs being created by William Amor Fenn, he used the chandeliers from Knole house as his inspiration.
The fifth chandelier is in the Inner Hall and was also created by Veitch & Fenn, it too was based on the chandeliers at Knole.
A virtual tour of both the Long Gallery and the Inner Hall at Hever Castle can be found here.
