Hever Castle & Gardens has been named a finalist in the Group Leisure & Travel Awards in the Best Guided Tour category.
The Group Leisure & Travel awards, organised by Group Leisure & Travel magazine, recognise the best attractions, destinations and experiences for groups across the UK.
The awards are voted for by readers of the magazine making it a coveted industry accolade.
The winners of the Group Leisure & Travel Awards will be announced at an online ceremony on Thursday 28 October, hosted by TV presenter and travel journalist Julie Peasgood.
Hever Castle & Gardens has many years of experience of working with group travel organisers, teachers, and member of the travel trade and offers a range of experiences, tours and packages for groups visiting the historic attraction.
Tours available to groups include a Castle tour offering a chance to learn more about the previous owners, splendid panelled rooms, fine furniture, tapestries and impressive collection of Tudor paintings. The gardening team also organise hour long tours of the 125 acre stunning gardens which were laid out between 1904 and 1908 by Joseph Cheal & Don and designed to display William Waldorf Astor’s magnificent collection of classic Italian statuary.
