There is a pub in the village of Hever, The Henry VIII Inn, which is within walking distance, but we advise that you check their website for any changes they may make to service dates and times and to book a table. There are other pubs in proximity and when you book a room with us, we will include in your confirmation email a couple of suggested local places to consider. Depending on the day of your stay and whether Hever Castle is open to the public, there are two options for lunch on the Hever Castle Estate, the first being the Moat Restaurant. With beautiful views of the Castle, enjoy a variety of fresh sandwiches and a large selection of freshly baked cakes. Plus hot and cold dishes and children’s meals. View the current menu here.
The Guthrie Pavilion Restaurant offers a seasonal menu of hot and cold dishes and is usually open during peak times. Reception will be able to let you know what is open on that day.
One mile down the road you can also find the warm and welcoming Waterside Bar, Restaurant & Terrace at Hever Castle Golf Club, where members and visitors are all invited to enjoy drinks or a casual bite to eat.
