The Hever Castle gardening team handed over a cheque for charity Perennial from money raised from garden tours.
Head Gardener Neil Miller and his team raised £107.72 from visitors’ donations to Garden Tours during this year’s Hever in Bloom event.
Hever in Bloom is Hever Castle’s annual garden event, showcasing the glorious award winning gardens at the height of their summer beauty. Visitors can enjoy one of the finest displays of more than 4,000 roses in Kent, the Garden of England.
Representatives from Perennial were at Hever in Bloom talking about their work.
The charity helps anyone who creates or maintains gardens, parks, sports facilities and other green spaces when they are facing tough times.
