The 2020/2021 golf captains’ fundraising at Hever Golf & Wellbeing raised over £11,000 for the NHS.
Each new captain chooses a charity to support and the NHS was the choice of Annette Hards and Calum Giles.
The golf captains’ fundraising was through a 18-hour golf shifts and the Captains’ day/drive.
Calum said: “Given we had such a short season, this is an incredible amount, and we should all be proud of our efforts for such a worthy cause. Thank you everyone who donated towards such a relevant charity given the times we currently live lin.”
For the 2021/2022 season Annette is remaining as Ladies Captain and Calum has handed over the baton to Rob Stevenson.
Captains for 2019/2020 Alan Evans and Anne Jakeman chose to support homeless charity, Porchlight, raising £5,844 and in 2018/2019 £3,450 was raised for the Alzheimer’s Society.
