Three golfers completed 72 holes in one day to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support in the Longest Golf Day Challenge.
Ben Cashen, Daniel Ellis and Nigel Brake took part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge at Hever Castle Golf Club on Monday 25 June.
Ben said, “It sure was tough, especially with the scorching heat but we made it and finished at 9.05pm after starting at 04.30am. We covered 48,000 steps and 20 miles of walking. The best score was 78 on the Championship Course!”
Daniel added: “We have currently raised just over £1200 and once all offline donations have been collected we hope to hit our target of £1,500! The Longest Day Golf Challenge is a great way to support a really worthwhile cause and raise money for people affected by cancer.”
