Hever Castle has been deemed good for group tours by Group Travel World magazine.
The publication named the historic attraction Group Friendly Attraction July 2018.
The magazine recognises and awards attractions, restaurants and hotels which welcome large groups of visitors.
Each month a representative visits various sites to assess and grade facilities to see whether they are good for group tours.
The winners are presented with a certificate to display and an article published in the magazine.
End of year winners will be selected by group travel organisers from within the industry.
The group tour accolade comes after Hever Castle was named a finalist in the Best Historic House or Garden for Groups category at The 2018 Group Travel Awards organised by GTO magazine.

For smaller group tours we have our new Hidden Hever tour (maximum 15 people) where visitors have the chance to see rooms not usually open to the public such as William Waldorf Astor’s study (with its secret panel), Lord Astor’s bathroom and Lady Irene Astor’s pink bathroom.

Hever Castle has played host to many important events and celebrations for over 600 years. In 1903 when William Waldorf Astor set about restoring Hever Castle to its former glory, he added the Astor Wing, to accommodate his family and guests, before creating a lake and the spectacular Italian Garden to house his impressive collection of ancient Greek and Roman statuary.
