Hever Castle has won Silver in two categories in Tourism South East’s 2025 Beautiful South Tourism Awards, which celebrate excellence in the sector.
In results announced at an awards ceremony at The Grand Brighton Hotel on Tuesday 9 December, Hever was presented with two Silver awards, for Large Visitor Attraction Of The Year and for Wedding Venue Of The Year.
The Beautiful South Tourism Awards recognise excellence across the region’s visitor economy, with finalists selected from an outstanding range of tourism and hospitality businesses throughout South East England.
Hever Castle’s Chief Executive, Duncan Leslie, said the prizes were a wonderful reflection on all that the Castle and Gardens had to offer, both as a leading visitor attraction and an award-winning wedding venue.
“Hever provides wonderful experiences and lasting memories, with our visitors able to enjoy magnificent gardens, fun days out for the whole family and the chance to step back into history,” he said.

Hever Castle has an excellent record in these prestigious awards, having won many Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes in recent years. In 2024, for instance, it won the Gold Award in the Bed & Breakfast and Guesthouse of the Year category, and in 2022 was a Gold Award winner in the Experience & Event of the Year category for Christmas.
Winners are eligible to represent the South East at the Visit England Awards for Excellence in the following year.
