At Hever Castle in Kent, we are thrilled to announce that we have been recognised by Tripadvisor for our commitment to sustainability. Ranking 4th in Europe and 2nd in the United Kingdom in Travelers’ Choice Awards for the Best of the Best Things to Do, we are immensely proud of this accolade that underscores our dedication to being a more sustainable attraction.
TripAdvisor’s prestigious awards are not easily won. To achieve such high rankings, we had to secure a substantial volume of ‘above-and-beyond’ reviews. In addition, we had to accumulate a significant number of positive opinions from the global TripAdvisor community over the course of a year. Competing against 8 million other listings worldwide, less than 1% of these places achieved this remarkable honour. This recognition places Hever Castle in the esteemed company of other renowned attractions such as the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Casa Batlló, Barcelona, The Moesgaard Museum, Denmark and The Powerscourt House, and Gardens, Ireland.
Our commitment to be a more sustainable attraction at Hever Castle encompasses a wide range of initiatives aimed at preserving the environment and enhancing the visitor experience. From implementing eco-friendly practices in our daily operations to maintaining the historic beauty of the Castle and biodiversity of our gardens, we strive to create an attraction that not only delights visitors but also cares for the planet. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the support and feedback from our visitors.
Hever Castle is committed to sustainability and becoming more environmentally friendly.
