Hever Castle is taking part in a Visit Kent initiative to promote all that Kent has to offer – Your Kent Experience.
Kent is full of surprises; as well as Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, there are those famous white cliffs, the oldest cathedrals in the country and vineyards that produce some of the finest English wines around.
Lonely Planet has even placed Kent’s Heritage Coast on the Best in Travel 2022 list for its combination of history, heritage and iconic natural landscapes.
It is the only UK destination to feature in this year’s round-up of the ultimate in must-have travel experiences.
If you are planning Your Kent Experience Hever Castle has a packed events schedule throughout the year to appeal to couples and families. The restaurants offer a wide range of mouth watering food and drink options or in warmer weather the stunning gardens have some spectacular picnic spots. The historic castle houses fine furniture, tapestries, antiques and an impressive collection of Tudor portraits.
Children can burn off some energy in three play areas including the thrilling Tudor Towers adventure playground.
Those wanting to visit Hever Castle for longer than a day can check in to Hever Castle’s 5* luxury bed and breakfast and keen golfers can also enjoy a round of golf a mile down the road from the main Hever Castle entrance.
