As the year gathers pace, thoughts at Hever Castle once again turn to balmy summer evenings, open-air performances and the timeless joy of live theatre set within one of England’s most atmospheric historic landscapes. The wait is now over, with booking open to all from Monday 2nd February 2026 for this year’s Hever Festival Theatre season.
Audiences are invited to explore and book tickets for a thoughtfully curated programme, bringing together outstanding drama, classical and contemporary music, family favourites and a selection of special one-off events. The season offers something for everyone, appealing to long-standing festival supporters as well as those discovering the festival for the first time.
A New Era at the Two Sisters’ Theatre
At the heart of the festival is the purpose-built Two Sisters’ Theatre at Hever Castle – a venue designed for comfort and atmosphere. Every seat in the auditorium is fully under cover beneath a continuous roof, while the transparent roof section invites you to enjoy sunshine by day and stars by night as you watch the stars on stage. For events beyond summer, the clear walls can be closed, protecting audiences from the elements while still preserving a sense of being surrounded by the castle’s beautiful gardens.
