Lake Walk has now re-opened to visitors. However, some areas may be hazardous due to recent weather conditions.
Please wear appropriate footwear when walking around the Lake. Areas that are hazardous will be clearly marked and Hever Castle Ltd can accept no responsibility to injury or damage beyond these points whilst we work on repairs.
The walk was recently closed due to flooding and tree damage caused by the high winds during Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis. At the foot of the Lake, there has been substantial flooding River Eden. Subsequently, some damage has formed on pathways.
Lake Walk takes approximately 1 hour at a leisurely pace.
