Former primary school teacher Catherine Davidson, who has recently joined the Hever Castle Health & Wellbeing team, worked in Chicago for 10 years before returning to the UK and changing careers.
Having always been interested in massage she trained in aromatherapy, holistic and Swedish massage and built up a client base at her former home in Weybridge, Surrey.
When clients asked if she also did nails she added beauty therapy to her repertoire.
Five years ago, the mother of two moved to Hurst Green in Surrey where she has been seeing clients at home.
She has recently joined Hever Castle Health & Wellbeing offering holistic massage and beauty treatments as well as new treatments such as warm bamboo massage.
Holistic massage using acupuncture pressure points to rebalance your mind, body and soul.
The benefits of massage include better circulation, reduces stress hormones, reduces muscle tension, improves recovery of soft tissue injuries, increases lymphatic drainage as well as providing a deep sense of relaxation and an overall sense of wellbeing.
Catherine says: “So why not come to Hever & treat yourself to a massage or facial and snuggle up on a heated blanket while you have one of my luxurious treatments.”
She also offers an after-care service, giving advice on what to do to improve your health and wellbeing as well as beauty treatments including eyelash/brow tints, OPI Gel/varnish and waxing.
Catherine Davidson heard about the wellbeing centre from friend Louise, who practises reflexology there.
