Lisa Bunton has been a fitness instructor for over 30 years, teaching classes such as aerobics, body conditioning, spin and dance.
“I ended up with 7 classes in my first week of working so I learnt very quickly”, Lisa admits.
Lisa Bunton started a legs, bums and tums class at Hever Castle Health & Wellbeing in October 2019.
The low impact body conditioning work out involves exercises such as squats, lunges and mat work and is suitable for everyone. It helps shape and condition the lower body.
The class starts with a standing warm up followed by a short standing conditioning section which will then move to the mat. It will end with a stretch to lengthen out all of those muscles that have been worked.
Lisa Bunton also co-ordinates the studio timetable at Chartham Park, managing 45 Instructors and 140 classes a week. She previously worked at Nizels alongside Chartham Park so at one point she was managing 300 classes a week and 90 instructors.
She currently teaches 12 classes a week ranging from Spin, Body Conditioning, Body Pump to Fitness Pilates.
It is her passion for her subject which drives Lisa: “I only teach what I enjoy,” she says.
Even having her children didn’t stop Lisa from her love of fitness; 6 weeks after having her daughters, Poppy and then later Lily she returned to teaching.
Legs, bums and tums with Lisa Bunton runs from 9.30am to 10.30am on Tuesdays. To find out more or to book contact Lisa: firstname.lastname@example.org or 07920 754566.
