National Gardening Week is fast approaching and to celebrate, we’re running a number of extra activities to get your green fingers in gear. National Gardening Week, organised by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), runs from 11 – 17 April 2016, this year’s theme will explore the ways in which gardens and gardening can enhance well-being.
Immerse yourself in the Hever gardens with:
Meet our gardeners, learn about the different gardens and plants at Hever and why getting fit and taking time out in the garden is good for your well-being.
Start something beautiful in your garden this spring. We’ll be giving out seeds to plant during free sessions with our gardening team. Bringing colour to your garden should tempt you to step outside a little more – the fresh air and fragrant blooms will do a world of good for your mental well-being. From mowing to raking – maintaining your garden will do a surprising amount of benefit for your fitness too.
Hever Castle has long supported Perennial, which has been helping horticulturists in need for 175 years.
