Open Air Cinema Films Announced

What's on

Summer Cinema

We’re delighted to announce, six nights of open air cinema at Hever Castle during August.

On the evenings of 7-9 and 14-16 August, you can enjoy socially distanced open air cinema under the stars.

The experience takes place on the main lawn at Hever Castle with a blanket or a chair to watch iconic films in the open air within the beautiful grounds.

Enjoy an alfresco summer meal with the BBQ, Pizza Van, ice creams and bar available or bring your own picnic. Soak in the summer splendour, with the Castle in the background.

Although the Hever Festival Theatre is putting on a Bizesize Festival (18 to 30 August) they are unable to bring you movies in their tent so, in these unusual times, the open air cinema experience has evolved to offer something completely outdoors and unique in an iconic venue.

The summer cinema is £15 per ticket with a £10 parking charge per car. Visitors are able to arrive from 6.30pm with the films starting at 8pm. All tickets must be pre-booked.

The August programme offers something for everyone from a 1969 British period drama based on the life of Anne Boleyn, to action comedies Hot Fuzz, The Goonies and The Gentleman, the modernisation of William Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo & Juliet to American High School comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

The following films are being shown:
