February is the perfect time for a night away in our 5* gold bed and breakfast or our luxury holiday cottage, Medley Court.
Spring is on its way which is seen in the arrival of the stunning snowdrops around the 125 acre estate.
Guests enjoying a night away in the Astor Wing or Anne Boleyn Wing enjoy complimentary access to the Castle and grounds during opening hours on the day of arrival, the day of departure and all days in between. Enjoy Snowdrop Walk or a leisurely walk around Hever Lake.
Part of February we are closed to visitors on Monday and Tuesdays offering guests who are enjoying a luxury break the chance to explore the grounds when they are not open to the general public. During your night away enjoy those frosty mornings or dramatic sun rises.
Another benefit of a night away in February is that a private guided tour of the Castle is available when the Castle is closed to visitors.
During February half term choose to have a luxury break with your family and enjoy our Living with Nature event.
Find out how to encourage wildlife into your garden and join Hever Castle’s gardeners on a stroll around the grounds to learn about natural and manmade habitats. Become a ‘Wildlife Detective’ and take part in a self-guided walk to investigate animal footprints and tracks in the grounds. Warm up inside the Castle and discover animals and flowers hidden in the paintings and panelling of the Castle.
Encourage birds into your garden by building a bird feeder in a free workshop or buy a bag of bird food (50p per bag) and feed the birds and ducks at Hever Castle.
After all that walking, cosy up in the Music Room or Billiards Room* with a book and a refreshments, available to buy from reception.

Hever Castle has played host to many important events and celebrations for over 600 years. In 1903 when William Waldorf Astor set about restoring Hever Castle to its former glory, he added the Astor Wing, to accommodate his family and guests, before creating a lake and the spectacular Italian Garden to house his impressive collection of ancient Greek and Roman statuary.
