Hever Castle has been shortlisted for Most Prestigious Romantic Venue in the Prestigious Star Awards 2015.
The awards celebrate the quality, performance and reputation of venues from around the world. Prestigious Venues, who host the Prestigious Star Awards, pride themselves on having the only global luxury venue awards programme.
When shortlisting for the awards Prestigious Venues Ambassadors look for venues they feel qualify to host the most memorable events and take into account a range of factors including setting and amenities. Ambassadors for the Prestigious Star Awards described Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, as “a striking castle with its own lake and a wealth of facilities”.
Roland Smith, House Manager at Hever Castle, says: “We’re delighted to have been nominated, it shows how highly regarded the Castle is as a venue – not just within the UK but globally. There is no questioning the romance of a place such as this, with its beautiful rose gardens and sumptuous surroundings it’s like something out of a fairy tale. I have no doubt that the public will agree but we shall be keeping our fingers crossed that we get plenty of votes!”
Hever Castle is one of nine venues shortlisted in the category of Most Prestigious Romantic Venue and is up against venues from all across the world. Voting is now open and you can cast your vote for Hever Castle here. Voting closes on 31 July, ahead of the 18 September awards ceremony in London.
