The Castle is being opened for private guided tours for Bed & Breakfast guests on Mondays and Tuesdays following a stay on a Sunday or Monday throughout November through to February when the Castle would usually be closed to the public.
During these tours guests will be guided around the Castle rooms in small groups where they can ask the Castle stewards any questions they may have. As the name suggests guests will also be completely undisturbed as there will be no other visitors in the Castle.
Private guided tours generally start at 10.30am on the morning after your stay and depart from the Astor Wing Music Room, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a hearty breakfast.
So for an even more unforgettable stay, take advantage of the exclusive access, perfect for a history lover or even just for a countryside retreat on Mondays and Tuesdays from November through to February.
