Throughout the summer holidays (24 July – 3 September) your little ones can take part in a series of hands-on activities and challenges as part of Adventures in Time Travel.
Adventures in Time Travel begins daily at 11:30, 12:30, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00 on the Winter Lawn and ends on the Castle Forecourt.
The Knights of Royal England will once again return for the annual Jousting Tournaments on:
July: 13 & 14, 20 & 21, 27 & 28
August: 10 & 11, 17 & 18, 23 – 26, 31
September: 1
Watch as they battle it out and entertain with exhilarating displays of action, stunts, falls and fights in an authentic arena complete with a Royal Box.
On selected days in July and August be entertained by the falconry displays from Willow’s Bird of Prey Centre for summer at Hever Castle.
Hever in History
Immerse yourselves in living history encampments and experience crafts, cooking, and battle displays from the Middle Ages to as recent as 20th Century as part of Hever in History (24 – 26 August), this summer at Hever Castle.
Get up close to weaponry and suits of armour and try them on for size.
The bank holiday weekend also sees the last Jousting tournaments – who will be the final victor?

Within the grounds of the Hever Castle Estate, there are two opportunities for you to stay the night with us.
Hever Castle has played host to many important events and celebrations for over 600 years. In 1903 when William Waldorf Astor set about restoring Hever Castle to its former glory, he added the Astor Wing, to accommodate his family and guests, before creating a lake and the spectacular Italian Garden to house his impressive collection of ancient Greek and Roman statuary.
