Hever Castle & Gardens is a leading partner in a major video-led digital advertising campaign to encourage people to spend their Summer in Kent.

The 2019 campaign calls for all the history hunters, the weekend escapers and culture cravers…to forget their passports and instead, book a staycation in Kent, the Garden of England.

Hever Castle & Gardens features in the video for West Kent alongside partners Leeds Castle, Shepherd Neame and Southeastern. The footage includes shots of the romantic Castle once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, the impressive Loggia at the Lake end of the Italian Garden, overhead shots of the 100 year old Yew Maze and a room in the Luxury Bed & Breakfast – perfect for a staycation to explore the area.

Calling all regal romantics…

Kent promises the perfect base for a break with friends or family, with everything you could possibly want from a great summer holiday, from action-packed adventures to get-away-from-it-all rural retreats. What’s more our historic attractions, glorious gardens, beautiful beaches, vibrant towns and breathtaking views are all within achingly easy reach of London.

We will be using the hashtag #SummerInKent throughout the summer when using our campaign videos and images. The campaign is all about creating a buzz and positioning Kent as THE place to visit this summer. Help us to spread the word about the campaign and share not only the creatives we feature in but those of other partners too!

Now in its 8th year, the award-winning Summer in Kent advertising campaign has been developed in partnership with Visit Kent, Paradise London and AKA Media.

This is an exciting departure from the traditional London underground and overground station large format posters of the past. The fresh approach is in response to the huge success of last year’s digital element of the campaign.

We are very proud to be working with the following partners for this year’s summer campaign:
• Canterbury BID
• Canterbury Council (Visit Canterbury)
• Creative Folkestone (Folkestone Artworks)
• Dover Council
• Dover Castle (English Heritage)
• Medway Council
• Leeds Castle
• Shepherd Neame
• Southeastern
• Swale Council
• Walmer Castle (English Heritage)

The other videos for East and North Kent can be found on the Visit Kent site.

The campaign launched on Monday 3rd June and will finish on Monday 9th September with three bursts of activity in June, July and August.
