As spring awakens and the daffodils begin to bloom in Anne Boleyn’s Orchard, Hever Castle luxury Bed & Breakfast celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Anne Boleyn Wing opening to the public. An Edwardian extension to the Castle, the Anne Boleyn Wing was added to the Astor Wing Bed & Breakfast in March 2015 to enhance the collection of the 17 beautifully appointed bedrooms in the Astor Wing.
Originally built by William Waldorf Astor at the turn of the 20th century to accommodate his family and guests, the Astor Wing has a long tradition of providing comfort and luxury to visitors of the Castle. Among the famous guests who have stayed are Arthur Conan Doyle, Neil Armstrong, Winston Churchill, Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly.
The Anne Boleyn Wing enjoys its own beautiful breakfast room which is flooded with natural daylight and offers window seats looking out across the orchard to the Castle. Inspiration for the names of the rooms were drawn from English apple varieties, some of which are grown in Anne Boleyn’s orchard.
