The Third Day filmed in Kent, starring Jude Law, includes scenes at Hever Castle.

The TV Series will be available to stream on Sky and UKTV from 15 September.

It includes scenes filmed at Hever Castle, Fog Signal Station, Allens Farm, Ferry House Inn & Harty Ferry, Chiddingstone, Bedgebury National Pinetum Forest, Shellness Beach and Huts, Quex Park, St Clere Estate, Grain Coastal Park and Walpole Bay Tidal Pool.

The drama is divided into six episodes and sees Jude Law playing Sam who encounters mysterious secrets and rituals on an island off the British coast.

Third Day filmed in Kent is divided into two halves with Summer (directed by Marc Munden).

Winter (directed by Philippa Lowthorpe) features Naomie Harris as Helen who visits the island looking for answers.

Third Day filmed in Kent and written by Dennis Kelly also stars Katherine Waterston, Paddy Considine, Emily Watson, John Dagleish and Freya Allan.

The production crew which included hair, make up and onsite catering filmed at Hever Lake for two days in September 2019.

Hever Castle has a long tradition of featuring in films and TV programmes and last year held an exhibition about films and programmes filmed in the Castle and grounds.

Two dresses from the film Anne of the Thousand Days and a sword dredged from the moat after filming for The Passionate Pilgrim starring Eric Morecambe and Tom Baker, were among the items on display.

Filming for the Third Day took place between July and December 2019.

The Kent Film Office provided filming permits, location suggestions, traffic management and lighting engineers. The production contributed an estimated £824K over 34.5 days to the Kent economy.
