Around 40 veterans visit Hever Castle as part of the Home Front event on Saturday (22 June).
Visitors had a chance to meet several veteran soldiers, pilots and sailors who served both during and after World War II.
The WWII veterans were brought to the Castle by the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans, made up of licensed London taxi drivers who regularly volunteer to drive veterans in and around the capital, the home counties and to the battlefields of Europe.

Home Guard reenactors and members of the public lined the route to greet the veterans during their visit to Hever Castle.
Prime Minister Winston Churchill welcomed the veterans to Hever Castle before they enjoyed refreshments and led a singalong.
Hever’s Home Front (22 and 23 June) gave visitors a chance to discover life in wartime Britain with reenactors, authentic cooking on the ration, classic cars and vintage prams. Members of the public could take part in a dance class in the tea tent, browse stalls selling vintage wares and refreshments, see displays of period model boats on the moat or take a selfie with a life-size model Spitfire.
