Hever Castle has been named a finalist in the Family Attraction and Weddings categories of the Muddy Stilettos Awards 2026, with the Castle’s Festival Theatre also shortlisted.. The Family Attraction nomination recognises Hever Castle as one of Kent’s leading days out for all ages, with its historic castle, gardens, maze, playgrounds and seasonal events offering something for families year-round. The estate continues to evolve its visitor experience while staying rooted in its rich heritage, creating an accessible and engaging destination for both local visitors and those travelling from further afield.
The Weddings category celebrates Hever Castle as one of the region’s most distinctive wedding venues. Set within centuries-old history and surrounded by award-winning gardens and lakeside views, the Castle provides a unique setting for ceremonies and celebrations. The nomination reflects the dedication of the weddings team and the many couples who choose Hever for their special day.
Alongside these, The Festival Theatre’s shortlist highlights the growing cultural programme on site, bringing live performance to a truly historic setting and broadening the Castle’s offer beyond its traditional heritage experience.
