Mother's Day Weekend at Hever Castle

Mother’s Day Weekend: 9 & 10 March

Show your mum just how much you love her with a wonderful family day out to Hever Castle on Mother’s Day Weekend.

On Saturday 9 March you can also enjoy a delicious carvery in the elegant Guthrie Pavilion Restaurant overlooking the Lake. If you’d like to book this, you will need to be quick as booking for the carvery closes tomorrow (7 March) at 3pm.

Plus, as an extra special treat we are offering a £50 discount off all new bookings for Astor Wing Bedrooms this Sunday (10 March). *Please note this excludes single and standard double rooms. This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other Bed & Breakfast offers.

Dazzling Daffodils: 18 – 24 March

With 80,000 daffodil bulbs set to bloom across Hever Castle’s gardens this spring, feel uplifted by the cheerfulness of this exquisite bloom which symbolises new beginnings.

Enjoy a self-led tour of the gardens and take in their beauty at your own pace or join one of the daily tours. Johnny Walkers, master grower of walkers bulbs and winner of 36 RHS gold medals will be giving daffodil tours during the week (Mon-Fri) and the weekend tours will be led by Hever Castle’s gardeners.

Plus, we have created Daffodil Watch for you so you can keep an eye on how they are looking!

Easter Family Fun: 29 March – 14 April

Throughout the school holidays enjoy Easter family fun at Hever Castle.

Make some special memories this spring with an egg-cellent Dinosaur themed trail, craft activity and sand dig.

Meet the dinosaur explorers (selected dates only) as they wander around the grounds and round off your day with an animal themed face paint (additional charge, selected dates only).

Celebration of Spring: 15 – 28 April

From blossoms to bluebells, Hever Castle & Gardens have got spring covered this year with a colourful celebration that promises to delight this April.

With thousands of tulips, spring bedding, cherry and apple blossom galore, magnolias, early rhododendrons, hyacinths, camassias and bluebells, there’s much to celebrate in the grounds.

May Day Festival

May Day Weekend: 4 – 6 May

Celebrate May Day at Hever Castle & Gardens with a weekend of fun family activities and traditional May Day customs.

Dance around the Maypole with brightly coloured ribbons intertwined and take part in an interactive traditional May Day play on the Castle forecourt. The Merry Men Players will enthral you with their rendition of King Arthur – Legend of the Sword.

The Festival Theatre at Hever Castle

2024 is going to be an incredibly exciting year for the Festival Theatre which is based at Hever Castle.

A new fully covered theatre is going to be built and will be ready to open on Two Sisters’ Lawn for the start of their main season in May.

Plus, tickets are now on sale to Festival Friends, Groups (by phone only), Castle & Golf Club Members. Make the most of your priority booking before tickets are then open to the general public on Monday 18 March at 10am.

Spring Stays

Easter Sunday Lunch: 31 March

The Waterside is located one mile from the Castle & Gardens at Hever Castle Golf & Wellbeing and is open to all.

Join us for Lunch on Easter Sunday with your loved ones. As an extra treat, every child will receive a free easter egg.

Bookings are open between 12 noon and 2pm, with three courses for £32 (Children under 12 for £16). Book early to secure your table and avoid disappointment.
