If it’s simply a wedding ceremony you are interested in booking at Hever Castle, there are two possible options to consider, either an ‘Astor Wing’ ceremony only wedding’ or an ‘Italian Garden’ ceremony only wedding’.
An Astor Wing Ceremony Only Wedding
An ‘Astor Wing’ ceremony only wedding takes place in The Astor Wing of Hever Castle in the oak panelled Tudor Suite Sitting Room which overlooks the castle and formal lawns. The Astor Wing was commissioned by William Waldorf Astor in 1903 when craftsmen used original Tudor tools in order to retain the authenticity. The result is a series of beautiful Tudor style buildings joined to the castle and connected inside. Following a ceremony we request that the wedding party stays to enjoy a drinks reception either within the Tudor Suite or, if weather allows, on the private Tudor Suite lawns with the Castle as a spectacular backdrop for photographs.

An Astor Wing ceremony can be conducted between midday and 3pm, bookings can be taken up to a year in advance on a Sunday or a Monday and two months in advance for a Saturday.
Minimum numbers for an Astor Wing ceremony only wedding are 25 and maximum numbers are 60.
AN ITALIAN GARDEN CEREMONY Only Wedding
An ‘Italian Garden’ ceremony only wedding, available April to October, takes place under the beautiful arched columns of the Italian Loggia with views across the 38 acre lake. This magical lakeside location is situated in The Italian Garden, where floral scents waft in the air in the early morning sunshine. As The Loggia is located in an area of the estate that is part of the day visitor attraction, an Italian Garden ‘ceremony only’ wedding takes place at 10am with guests arriving from 9.30am. This ensures minimum disruption from day visitors and offers a private and peaceful setting for you to conduct your vows. This magical lakeside location can be extended to a drinks reception where guests can take in the views from the stone piazza complete with our very own Trevi-inspired Fountain. We request that ‘ceremony only’ couples stay on for a drinks reception after the ceremony (access until midday) with photograph opportunities in the gardens. The Castle grounds open to the general public at 10.30am but the Loggia will have restricted access to members of the public until 11.30am.
Minimum numbers for an Italian Garden ceremony only wedding are 25 and maximum numbers are 200.
Booking can be taken up to a year in advance for Sunday to Thursdays and two months in advance for a Saturday; excluding school holidays and bank holiday weekends.
