Capturing a Queen: The Image of Anne Boleyn explores one of the most debated questions in Tudor history: what did Anne Boleyn really look like, and why does it still matter? The book presents striking new insights into Anne’s image and how it has been shaped over time. Written by Kate McCaffrey & Owen Emmerson and published to accompany the 2026 exhibition, it offers a fresh perspective on one of England’s most fascinating queens.
