ART WEEK: 28 mAY – 1 jUNE
Get arty this May half term at Hever Castle & Gardens.
Learn about works of art, become an artist for the day, enter an art competition, dig for mosaic pieces, create a bookmark with Origami paper and search for paintings in the grounds and Castle. There really is something for everyone during Art Week.
If you’d like to take part in the art competition during your visit simply depict the Castle or gardens in any style for a chance to win a prize. Pick up paper, charcoal or a pencil from the marquee on half moon, find your inner artist and have a go!
Your little ones can also enjoy a free 30 minute show. They will learn about the artistic techniques that Victorian children would have been taught and even get a chance to join in and try some.
Finally, head into the Castle and find out interesting facts about the paintings.
Pre-book your tickets online to save 10%.
