Spring Equinox – Nature Retreat
DETAILS OF THE DAY: 10:15AM – 3:00PM
- 10:15 am – Meet at the parking location which is provided upon booking
- 10:30 am – Mini retreat commences with with a gentle walk along some public footpaths
- 11:00 am – Some Qigong followed by Forest Bathing
- 1:00 pm – Lunch served around the fire
- 2:00 pm – Meditation, poetry and intention setting with a fireside ritual
- 3:00 pm – Close
This retreat will take place at a private woodland location on the grounds of Hever Castle so is not in the main grounds. This beautiful secluded spot has a wonderful wild feel to it with a base camp circle surrounded by woodland and we will have exclusive use of the space for the duration of the session.
A discount code is available for attendees for entry into Hever Castle if you wish to make a day of it and head there after the workshop. Great if you are coming with friends, family or partners. Please notify Tansy if you wish to use book in at the Castle.

Adventures in Time Travel
Throughout the summer holidays (24 July – 3 September) your little ones can take part in a series of hands-on activities and challenges as part of Adventures in Time Travel.
Adventures in Time Travel begins daily at 11:30, 12:30, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00 on the Winter Lawn and ends on the Castle Forecourt.

Adventures in Time Travel begins daily at: 11:30, 12:30, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00 on the Winter Lawn and ends on the Castle Forecourt.
Our adventurers have got stuck in time and can’t find their way home. Can you help them find the lost key? Travel through a door into an unknown time where our explorers realise they have accidentally lost the key that unlocks the door which takes them home again. Take part in a serious of challenges, plus you will meet a knight, join in a sword battle and finally balance the counterweights to to unlock the door and safely return home.

BSL Interpreted Jousting & Falconry 2024
The Knights of Royal England will be entertaining visitors with exhilarating displays of action, stunts, falls and fights in an authentic arena complete with a Royal Box. Battling it out in the saddle and on foot in one-to-one combat, the valiant knights will then compete for points to find this season’s ultimate champion. Choose which knight to support and then cheer them to glory.
On this day you can also be entertained by the falconry displays from Willow’s Bird of Prey Centre. The displays will last about 20 minutes and will happen twice a day. After the displays, you’ll have a chance to see these wonderful birds of prey up close and personal.
Entrance to the BSL interpretation area at the Jousting Tournament and Falconry is included in a BSL Gardens Only or BSL Castle & Gardens admission ticket.
Please do not book BSL Interpreted Jousting tickets unless someone in your party has a hearing impairment.
Saturday 10 August
Jousting:
BSL Interpreted Jousting area opens at 1pm
Jousting tournament begins at 2.15pm
Jousting tournament finishes by 3.00pm
Falconry:
BSL interpreted falconry displays will be available on the day at 11.30am & 3.45pm
Castle:
If you are visiting the Castle, there will be a BSL interpreter inside the Castle 10.30am – 1.00pm & 3.45pm – 5.00pm. The Castle is usually busiest in the afternoons on jousting days. A Castle ticket is required.
The BSL interpretation area will be signposted and roped off from the general public. To gain access to this area please show your booking confirmation. Seating will be on the grass so you may wish to bring a blanket.
