Hever Castle’s Head Gardener Neil Miller and his team work closely with Perennial to raise money for the UK’s only charity which is dedicated to helping people in horticulture.
As part of Autumn Colour, on Friday 18th October you can join Neil and other Hever Castle staff for an exhilarating fundraiser like no other. Perennial invites you to conquer your fears and walk across hot coals in a firewalk event!

Perennial is the only charity dedicated to helping everyone who works in horticulture. The charity provides free and confidential advice, support, and financial assistance to individuals working in, or retired from, the horticultural industry and their families. Established in 1839, Perennial has a long history of providing a lifeline to those who care for our green spaces.
Date: Friday 18th October 2024
Time: 3pm onwards
Location: Castle Forecourt
Participants can sign up for the Firewalk through the Perennial website. Registration is £25 per person to cover the cost of the event, with a fundraising target of £150. All funds raised will directly support Perennial’s vital services, which include financial assistance, health and wellbeing support, and training and development programmes for individuals in the horticultural industry.
