Craft Fair

 Anthony Theakston

craft fair 10 – 13 September

Head to Hever Castle in September for a contemporary craft fair organised by Craft In Focus. Over the four days you will be able to discover around 120 exhibitors from the UK’s finest designer makers and contemporary artists at this craft fair based in the heart of the Kentish countryside.

Craft in Focus have chosen specific designers for their individuality and innovation in contemporary design so you will be exposed to a whole host of British talent.

If your little ones are aged 7-14 they can explore the Tudor Towers adventure playground with its own moat, drawbridge and three turrets. It features three slides and two poles and lots of interactive elements including musical instruments, a floor maze and hidden boxes to find. Those under 7 can enjoy Acorn Dell, natural play area with its 2 metre high living willow structure, a giant sandpit, a mound with tunnels to clamber in and a climbing frame. Other things for families to enjoy include the challenge of the Yew Maze or the popular Water Maze (but don’t forget to bring a towel!)

And after all this hungry work, enjoy some family time with a variety of food options finished off with ice cream or a variety of mouth-watering homemade cakes.
